It's called "Postcards from Yo Momma" and features reader-contributed snippets of e-mails, text messages and instant messages from mothers and grandmothers to their kids and grandkids.

All I can say is that I've never been gladder to have parents who have not quite fully embraced new technology over the telephone.

I totally agree with you, not being able to text message your mom has one huge advantage: you won't get text messages from your mom.
Unfortunately for me, my mother has mastered the text message, but not the abreveations associated, so I get these long-winded, boring messages. Luckily, the internet remains a mystery to her.
