New catch phrase: "Sweet Jesus in a coffee cup!"
(patent pending)
Jerry Stolfi of Ravena, NY says the inside of his coffee mug appears to bear the image of Jesus wearing a crown of thorns. He says he hopes sharing his story will help others.

When I take too many drugs and clean my house I often see Jesus in the details and in the cobwebs and in the mold growing in my coffee mug.
I usually "Shrine" it off.
My new catch phrase is "Maya Angelou is insufferable"--blatantly stolen from Kathy Griffin.
But I may change it up a bit, because I like the obscure, and say, "Jerry Stolfi of Ravena New York is insufferable."
OMG - you guys made me chortle AND guffaw on a conference call with your comments.
Love having you here.
xo
I must start using this phrase immediately. Please let me know when your patent goes through so I can start paying you appropriately...
Yup, that sure is HIM, that coffee cup should immediately be sanctified.
Talking of which, I recently came across a pastry with a stigmata!
You know - the hits just keep coming.
You four guys are the funniest - this may turn out to be one of the best posts ever.
Al - feel free to use - I give you advance use permission!
Ciao, ya'll
Sweet Jesus in a coffee cup! Did Diederick just say stigmata?
(Just practicing. Sorry.)
I overuse "Christ on a pony" in exclamatory conversation.
However, I must point out the title of my blog is my most favouritest catchphrase ever -- that I made up thankyouverymuch -- and comes in handy several times a day.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
