WASHINGTON – Following up on its successful campaign to defeat Dede Scozzafava in NY-23, The National Organization for Marriage’s (NOM) Executive Director Brian Brown announced plans to build a $500,000 war chest to fund a primary challenge to any Republican senator who votes for gay marriage – regardless of the outcome of Tuesday’s vote in the State Senate. Pssst.

What terrifies you so much about two people who love each other wanting the same rights and protections under civil statutes as heterosexual couples?

I think that sums up the problem entirely.
Just think of all the good that could be done with a half million dollars. Maggs could have a chin or two removed and that poor sad man could hire a male hooker. Wait, a half million is not enough for either.
